The No. 12 ranked Arizona State Beach Volleyball played in the final two matches of the regular season on Saturday. The Sun Devil's swept their matches against UTEP and Benedectine University at Mesa while honoring their Senior players. The Sanctity of Sprint Car Racing in Arizona
Sprint car racing was once a staple of the motorsports scene across Arizona. However, in recent years numerous tracks have shut down. As a result, drivers and crews were forced to leave the state to pursue their passion. Now, after a six-year hiatus, the High Limit Series brought sprint car racing back to the Valley of the Sun. This video was shot at the Central Arizona Speedway, showcasing the speed, sound and sanctity of preserving dirt racings in Arizona. I spoke with several drivers and media members to get their thoughts on the importance of revitalizing this style of racing and what it meant to be back after so many years away.

Last week, I had the opportunity to speak with Spire Motorsports driver Michael McDowell. The 2021 Daytona 500 champion shared his journey across the sport, beginning with his days in Arizona. A High Speed Chess Match with Kenna Mitchell
Del Oro High School Kenna Mitchell just graduated. Unlike most of her peers, she decided skip the stage to do what she loves: race. Kenna started driving race cars when she was 11 years old, with a single rider vehicle that topped out at 50 miles per hour. It takes just under 20 seconds to complete a lap. Now, she drives a full bodied stock car, with a v8 engine, 600 Horsepower, and turns a lap in 12 seconds.
