STOCKTON, Calif. – The Stockton 99 Speedway is set to host its second of eight Summer races on June 14, featuring the return of Stockton Late Model and Pure Stock divisions.

As Summer heats up, Stockton 99 shifts into high gear to complete the bulk of the 2025 season. Following June 14, the speedway’s next event is the Ron Strmiska classic on Thursday July 3.

Now, the Stockton Late Models have not raced at the ¼ mile bullring since May 10. Stockton’s JoJo Stearns is the defending winner and Escalon native Sammy Solari leads the points by three.

Henderson, Nevada native Tyler Reif took home the trophy during last weekend’s MMI Legends event. Of the Legends of 99 regulars, Tracy’s Brenden Ruzbarsky finished the highest in fourth.

Pure Stock veteran Donny Darter of Valley Springs enters the weekend on a three-race win streak. Darter has also built up a 10 point advantage over Stockton driver Mason Beghtel.

On May 7, Natalie Harper of Stockton picked up her second Nor Cal Mini Stock win of the season. Harper led from the drop of the green flag, beating Sonora’s Steve Ford by 6.8 seconds.

Grand American Modifieds will also take to the track for the second time in 2025. Calvin Hegje of Sacramento and Tracy driver Scott Winters are tied for first in the standings at 53 points each.

Pit gates open for drivers and crew members at 3 p.m. and admission gates open to the public at 5 p.m. The evening’s opening ceremonies start at 6 p.m. followed by feature racing.

Adult tickets for the races can be purchased for $20 at the front gate. Ages 11-15, seniors above 60 and military members with a valid ID can get tickets for $15.

The Stockton 99 Speedway is now offering a $55 Family 4 Pack. This package covers the price of admission for two adults and two Jr. tickets.
