STOCKTON, Calif. – Stockton 99 Speedway gears up for its final race of the month on July 19, featuring the fourth race of Stockton Late Model season and return of trailer boat racing.
The Stockton Late Models headline a weekend of local division racing that includes the Nor Cal Mini Stocks, Legends of 99, Pure Stocks and Fast Kar Solutions Mini Modifieds. Additionally, the speedway welcomes the best trailer demolition drivers for a night of complete carnage.
After claiming a record-fourth Firecracker 90 trophy, Escalon’s Sammy Solari extended his points lead over Stockton native JoJo Stearns. Solari enters the weekend with an 11 point gap.
In the Nor Cal Mini Stocks, Ethan Rumsey vaulted past fellow Stockton driver Natalite Harper in the title fight. Now, Rumsey seeks to claim the series first three-peat since Joe Flowers in 2024.
Pure Stock star Donnie Darter of Valley Springs survived a failing car on July 3 to win his fourth main event of the season. However, Stockton’s own Mason Beghtel sits only two points back.
Last weekend, the best Legend drivers flocked to Stockton for a National Qualifier event. In the 50-lap race, Tanner Reif of Henderson, Nevada native defeated Tracy driver Brenden Ruzbarsky.
Easton’s Patrick Geiger continues to dominate the Fast Kar Solutions Mini Modifieds. The driver for Feelin’ Froggy Motorsports has recorded just one loss this season due to a mechanical failure.
To end the night, boat trailer racing tears up the fastest ¼-mile track west of the Mississippi. In order to win a driver must survive the chaos, all while keeping the boat attached to their cars.
Pit gates open for drivers and crew members at 3 p.m. and admission gates open to the public at 5 p.m. The evening’s opening ceremonies start at 7 p.m. with racing to follow.
Adult tickets can be purchased for $20 while ages 11-15, seniors and military members with ID can get tickets for $15. The Stockton 99 Speedway is also offering a Family 4 Pack for $55.
Children under the age of 10 and parking at all Stockton 99 Speedway events are free. Visit Stockton99.com for more information.
