STOCKTON, Calif. – Championship scenarios materialize at Stockton 99 on Saturday for weekly racing as the Stockton Late Model field gears up for the final three races of 2025.

Only four dates remain in Stockton 99 Speedway’s 76th season. On September 6, the Stockton Late Model championship fight gears up to headline the program with Legends of 99, Nor Cal Mini Stock, Pure Stock and Fast Kar Solution Mini Modified competition.

Escalon’s Sammy Solari and JoJo Stearns of Stockton are locked in a brawl to claim their second Stockton Late Model titles. Stearns won in their latest bout, but Solari held a 13-point advantage.

Kayci Phillips, daughter of 2007 ARCA Menards West champion Mike David, leads the Legends of 99 points. The Stockton driver is 17 points above second as she chases her first ever track title.

In the Nor Cal Mini Stocks, Ethan Rumsey leads fellow Stockton driver Natalie Harper by 21 points. However, Manteca’s Joe Flowers recently snapped Rumsey’s three-race win streak.

Donnie Darter of Valley Springs added six Pure Stock trophies to his collection to start the season. Yet, a title is no guarantee. Stockton’s Mason Beghtel sits four points behind Darter.

Fast Kar Solutions Mini Modifieds drivers have four chances to defeat Patrick Geiger. The Fresno native sat atop the points for all but one weekend and has six features to his credit.

Pit gates open at 3 p.m. and admission gates at 5 p.m. Opening ceremonies kick off at 7 p.m. with feature racing to follow.

Adult tickets are $20 while ages 11-15, seniors, and military members with ID can get tickets for $15. Children under the age of 10 and parking are free.
