The NorCal Legends Tour brings National Qualifier action to the Stockton 99 Speedway on Saturday for Fan Appreciation Day.
STOCKTON, Calif. – The NorCal Legends Tour brings National Qualifier action to the Stockton 99 Speedway on Saturday for Fan Appreciation Day.
NorCal Legend drivers roll into Stockton for the sixth race of the 2025 season and a chance to compete in the INEX Asphalt Nationals. The race winner receives a guaranteed spot in the 34th annual INEX Legend Car Asphalt Nationals held at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
JD Industries driver Jeremy Doss of Upper Lake is the defending winner of the qualifier. Doss went on to finish third in the Pro class during the 2024 national race at Dominion Raceway.
Tracy’s Brenden Ruzbarsky continues to notch wins all across the West Coast in 2025. The MMI Legends Tour West points leader won two of his three main events between June 28 and July 5.
Another driver to watch is Eureka native Brandon White who won the 2024 NorCal Legends championship. White won the most recent tour race at Shasta Speedway and is third in points.
Keep watch for Cole Brown of Ukiah and Bakersfield driver Taylor Mayhew. Brown was the runner-up to Doss last season and Mayhew sits second in points with four MMI Legend wins.
Each of these racers will duel for the opportunity to become the Asphalt Nationals Champion in Las Vegas on October 25. It will be the 11th time that the Neon City plays host to the title fight.
Also, the Fast Kar Solutions Mini Modifieds return to Stockton for back-to-back weeks. On July 3, points leader Patrick Geiger of Fresno utilized traffic as a pick to beat Easton’s Kyle Labire.
Pit gates open for drivers and crew members at 3 p.m. with admission gates at 5 p.m. Opening ceremonies and the national anthem will start at 7 p.m. with racing set to follow.
Adult tickets can be purchased for $20 while ages 11-15, seniors and military members with ID can get tickets for $15. Stockton 99 is also offering a Buy One Get One deal for online tickets.
